EIKOSTATE

Nadie podría pensar que de un sitio como Barcelona (Spain), algún día podría surgir un grupo de las características de Eikostate.
Su mezcla de rock con música tradicional japonesa y sus pegadizas melodías pop no son algo que puedas escuchar en estos días donde las radios te inundan los oídos de la nueva ola Emo.
"Podríamos haber subido al carro del Emo y el Screamo" - afirman los miembros de estabanda- "pero estaríamos siguiendo el camino que muchas otras bandas ya han marcado y exprimido. Decidimos encerrarnos en nuestro local de ensayo el tiempo que fuera necesario para llegar a donde queríamos llegar, sacrificando nuestras ansias de tocar en directo"-
El gran esfuerzo creativo y personal les costó dos años sin pisar ningún escenario e invertir todo su tiempo en una oscura habitación donde cambios de formación y la dificultad por encontrar un sello discográfico acabaron por dar su fruto.
Productores de gran prestigio mostraron su interés por Eikostate: Ben Grosse (Korn, Sevendust), Ulrich Wild (Statix-X, Deftones), Sylvia Massy (R.E.M, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tool, Deftones).

Don Casale, (Iron Butterfly,Vanilla Fudge, Rascals, discos de Oro & Platino, nominaciones a los premios Grammy), ya había estado interesado en la anterior grupo por lo que se mostró interesado en Eikostate. "El grupo atrajo mi atención en muchos aspectos: la música, las habilidades compositoras, la presencia en escena, y el puro poder de las canciones! No podía quedarme al
margen. Llegó la hora de involucrarme."

Finalmente, la discográfica Japonesa "Spinning Inc." creyó en la banda, y esto hizo que les fuera más sencillo encontrar un buen publishing con la multinacional Universal Spain.

Ahora vuelven Roger (batería), Eloi (guitarra, programming), Luís (bajo) y David (Voces), con Eikostate listos para mostrar todo su potencial.

Su álbum de debut llamado "Tribute to perseverance" (lanzamiento por confirmar), está lleno de melodías pegadizas y la fuerza del mejor rock mezclado con infinidad de instrumentos tradicionales Japoneses que le dan una atmósfera muy especial y personal.

Their debut album called "Tribute to perseverance" (release TBC), is full of catchy melodies and the strength of the best rock mixed with many traditional Japanese instruments that give a very special atmosphere and staff.
